Allyance Member Bill “Beaker” Bryan and Jack Black Rock MTV’s Summer Sizzle

The Wave House, San Diego played host to MTV’s hit tv show TRL (Total Request Live) this week. Dubbed “Summer Sizzle,” The world’s greatest surfers were invited to take part in sessions which were to be aired live throughout the holiday week as well as 5 taped wave sessions. Allyance team member and WaveLoch World Champion Bill “Beaker” Bryan was one of the select athletes invited to ride the wave for each of the daily tapings.
The supporting cast of wave riders included big names such as Allyance’s own Koty Lopez and Morgan Just, Jaime Obrien and his Pipeline Posse, Braden Diaz, and Tony Hawk with drop in appearances by Jack Black, sans wrestler tights.
Each day capped off with musical performances by Busta Rhymes, Pink, Krayzie Bone, Chamillionaire, and TI. Taped sessions will continue to appear throughout the summer on MTV’s TRL.
