American football is played quite simply by advancing the ball or pigskin to your opponent’s end zone, which is the furthest part of their side of the field. American football players either carry the ball themselves to the end zone, enduring and evading all of their opponent’s efforts to halt them, or by kicking the ball through the middle of their opponent’s goal post.
