New Poker Site Ranks Major Online Poker Rooms

Mike Wittmeyer, a college student and experienced poker affiliate, has launched his latest online poker venture, PokerSite.org. This site is dedicated to providing reviews of the best online poker sites such as Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars. Besides just normal review content, Mike looks at the actual competition at these poker rooms, the support response times, and special features that each room offers. Every major online poker site has been ranked according to their scores in these reviews.
PokerSite.org also provides its readers with exclusive content such as biographies of major online poker players. There are over a dozen poker player biographies at the moment, and Mike has plans to add many more. The categories for biographies include live poker players and online poker players, which is something that is pretty unique. Also, if you’re an online poker player, you can write a biography of yourself and Mike will add it to the site. Pretty cool!
Another interesting part of the poker site is the poker strategy section. Right now there are five categories of poker strategy articles: NL Hold’em Cash Games, NL Hold’em Tournaments, NL Hold’em Heads Up, Sit and Go, and General Poker. Each section is packed with info, articles, and advice on how to dominate that particular poker game. Mike says that “he has plans to add a lot more strategy sections in the future, including lengthy articles that encompass all the info for a particular poker game, and will be a one stop resource for players of that game.”
One other section we thought was interesting was the poker tournaments section. Upon first look, you might think it’s a section with strategy for poker tournaments, but it’s actually a bunch of articles that review live poker events such as the World Series of Poker, the World Poker Tour, and the Continental Poker Championship.
Besides just the full rankings of all of the reviewed online poker rooms, there are also specialized rankings for different types of poker players. First of all, the Online Poker Guide shows you what sites are best based on your location, including USA Poker Sites, UK Poker Sites, and European Poker Sites. Then, the Poker Site Rankings page shows you specialized rankings such as the Best Poker Bonuses, the Easiest to Beat Poker Sites, and the best Poker VIP Rewards Programs.
When asked what other plans he has for the future, Mike stated that he was going to add a really cool sit and go strategy section that will have a dozen training videos, where a professional poker player will play SNG’s while providing commentary about his play. Aw, this was a really great post. In theory I’d like to write like this also – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.
