Online Poker versus Conventional Poker
The real difference between real poker game and the online poker is the presence of the opponents. In the real game, we can see and observe our opponent’s body language, expression and reaction when the card is drawn of distributed. In the online game, the things that can be observed probably just betting patterns, reaction time or the chat box activities.
There are also speed difference on the offline and online poker. In the real poker game, there is a card dealer that has to shuffle, share and collect cards. This process is taking more time compared to the digital shuffler and distributor on the online game. The offline game rates about thirty hands per hour, the online game can run more than that since there is less delay on the game caused by the dealer or distributor.
The online game considered cheaper than to play real poker, the incidental expenses on live room poker do not exist on the online poker room. The online is simpler since the players do not have to go anywhere but in front of the computer screen, there is no transportation needed. Internet connection bill is much cheaper today. There is almost no waiting list on the game; someone who just left the table can go back as soon as he wishes. In the real poker room, a player who left the table sometime has to wait on the waiting list before permitted to go back to the table.
