Team USA American Football Staff Members Dan Miles, HR Silvagni, Mike Wynn, and Ryan Ruschhaupt Attend AFCA Convention 2006
(PRWEB) January 19, 2006
Team USA American Football staff members attended the AFCA Convention in Dallas, Texas to support the AFCA, and attend the seminars and Coaching Awards that are given to the top college coaches in College Football. TUSAAF Board members and coaches attended the event to spread the word about what Team USA American Football is doing to help amateur American football overseas at the Senior and junior levels. Participation in the AFCA Convention was viewed a positive step toward getting the support that is needed for TUSAAF to gain support from American Coaches and Administrators on the importance of the development of amateur football overseas.
TUSAAF will travel with a quality staff of former college coaches and high school coaches that will participate in Bowl games overseas to promote American Football at the highest levels in amateur American football overseas. All Coaches who volunteer for TUSAAF are AFCA members and share the values that are stressed by the American Football Coaches Association. Athletes that participate with TUSAAF come under the TUSAAF Umbrella and are not charged to participate in games overseas but are reminded of the importance of what representing the United States really means when traveling abroad. Amateur status of athletes is very important, none of the TUSAAF athletes are under contract by professional leagues and all athletes are screened to insure proper amateur status. Graduated College athletes that are interested in finding out more about TUSAAF are welcome to inquire directly via the Team USA American Football webpage.
